One in a series of abstracted paintings inspired by the flowers in my garden, and memories of summer from my childhood.
The colour, freedom and joy I am inspired by takes the form of abstracting vibrant flower forms and floating them in a sea of gentle colour.
The paint is carefully layered and dripped on to the canvas to give a rich patina and interesting surface.
This 100x100cm canvas is unframed, it has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
