Original artwork description
This abstract turquoise piece has a red dot and the word "SOLD" in the bottom left corner. When a piece of art is sold the red dot placed by it let's everyone know that it has sold. This gives a great sense of satisfaction to both the artist, who knows that someone loves the piece so much that they want it in their home, and the person buying the piece, as they know they will soon own the piece and be able to get pleasure from it forever. I wanted to create a piece of artwork where the buyer is reminded of the moment of sale, in the hope that the satisfaction it gave never diminishes.
