I am always inspired by simple things, a jug, a vase, simple food and flowers. In this case the pomegranates and Gum Nuts add a juicy pop of colour. This painting is textured and using a palette knife gives the vessels a fabulous antique feel. A painterly style that would work well in a contemporary or classic setting
