This is a surreal painting of a giraffe peeking through the sky, in a desert, and the environment has formed cubes.

I call this artwork “Politics”, the artwork was made during a huge Australian natural disaster (the 2019 fires) and it became evident that politics became super involved with the natural process of maintaining our environment, which resulted in mass destruction. The raised cubes represent how politics has chosen certain sections, for example to build roads and not make more efficient dams, and ignored other sections. The holes in the sky represent loopholes and areas where the civilians can thrive.

This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, oil based and will be sold with hooks, ready to hang!
