Original artwork description
Point of Convergence is an original large-scale abstract painting created with acrylic on canvas, measuring 100 × 140 cm. The artwork is shipped rolled, ensuring safe international delivery.
While working on this piece, I explored the moment where different directions, energies, and emotions meet. I built the composition around intersecting vertical and horizontal forms, allowing them to collide and merge through layered paint, expressive brushwork, and controlled palette knife textures.
The colour palette is refined and contemporary: soft ice blue, muted grey, warm beige, deep brown, and crisp white. These tones are balanced carefully to create contrast without heaviness. I applied acrylic paint in multiple layers, combining broad strokes, scraping, and subtle dripping to achieve depth, movement, and a tactile surface that changes with light.
This painting is about focus and alignment — a visual anchor that brings structure and calm into a space. It works beautifully in modern, minimalist, and contemporary interiors, becoming a statement piece that feels both strong and elegant.
