Original artwork description
China Cove in Point Lobos is famously known for its emerald luminous water. I have always been attracted to a bright turquoise color of water in the shallow part of the cove, and the greenish-blue rock shadow. This watercolor and gouache painting features sweeping brushstrokes to showcase the movement of the water, reflections, and the texture of the cliffs.
The 5"x7" artwork (actual image size is 4”x6”) is secured with 8"x10" mat (mat opening size is 4 ½ x 6 ½ inches), and it is ready for framing. It will easily slot into a standard 8"x10" frame. The painting is protected with Natural Glass Varnish, all natural casein and beeswax semi-gloss water-base non-toxic varnish. For shipping, the painting is placed in a protective clear plastic sleeve, to be removed for framing.
