Poblenou Faces is a diptych featuring two striking designs created from real street art found on the walls of Poblenou, Barcelona. Each design has a unique title taken from the central square, i.e. Anarchy and Happy Ending.
This work is part of my ongoing project, Views From The Street, where I turn hundreds of my own photographs—stickers, tags, graffiti, and raw street messages—into powerful visual snapshots of what people are saying and feeling in cities around the world at a specific moment in time.
For this diptych, I dived into my Poblenou photo archive and selected 121 individual images to create the final designs. I create each design digitally and use a digital pen to give photo edges a hand-painted feel.
The final artworks are printed on Hahnemühle Photo Matt Fibre 200gsm fine art paper using Epson UltraChrome Pro pigment inks, ensuring rich colour and long-lasting quality. Each print comes with a white border for easy handling, is signed and numbered on the front, and includes a certificate of authenticity.
Prints are carefully bubble-wrapped and rolled in a sturdy cardboard postage tube for protection.
For collectors or bold spaces, these designs are also available in a much larger 100x100cm format (actual print size 85x85cm), in an ultra-limited edition of just 5 prints. They can be purchased individually or as framed artworks.
