Original artwork description
This painting portray a little girl playing on the beach, in an early spring day in 2015, in Maiori (Salerno, Italy). I took several photos of this girl who was playing for hours with the sand and I was enchanted by the way which the solitaire game seemed to drag the girl into a different place. In this painting I wanted to give a "stillness" to the reality around, concentrating all around the figure of the girl bent over the sand, physically present, but away with the mind, while playing with her dreams.
