In this painting, I followed the rhythm of the light more than the lines of the boats. The sky opened up in shifting colors—warm clouds drifting like slow-moving fire—and the water answered with its own shimmering echoes. I wanted the sails to feel as if they were catching more than wind, as if they were gathering pieces of the sky itself. Everything moves gently here: color into color, air into water, moment into moment. It’s that quiet sense of drifting toward something luminous that I tried to hold on the canvas.
The work is painted with oil on stretched canvas , sides are white.
