I love painting water, lilies and reflections. None of these subjects are easy to paint, but I love a challenge. The picture is always changing, as the water ripples and the sun moves across the sky. I try to capture the essence of the scene. Water, by nature is reflective, therefore it gives me the space and opportunity to think deeply and reflect on myself. I have done a few artworks inspired by ponds and lilies. Being around nature calms me, and I love being able to bring home a piece of that tranquillity.
