Spontaneous work on canvas, instinctive and raw, exploring the colour pink. In these works Katja Wittmer uses various textures, colour themes and patterns in an intuitive way, being entirely led by her subconscious. This work is 20 x 20 cm, painted on canvas, framed in a wooden shadow box frame.
In her mixed media works, Katja Wittmer creates colour compositions that invite to curiously explore beyond what is apparent at first glance. Playing with form, texture and abstraction, Katja Wittmer develops the wonderful complexity of colour -in an interplay that extends through several layers, she achieves a unique and highly individual compositional power, creating her own unmistakable style of abstract modern art.
