PinMill Wrecks - Tides of Time
Step into a world where nature and history intertwine in "PinMill Wrecks - Tides of Time." This artwork presents a serene yet poignant view of two weathered ships, their once-proud forms now gently cradled by the water. The muted tones evoke a sense of nostalgia, inviting you to reflect on the stories these vessels might tell.
The intricate details of decay reveal the passage of time, while the calm waters create a tranquil backdrop, embodying the beauty found in abandonment. This piece not only captures the essence of forgotten journeys but also adds a touch of character to any space, making it a perfect addition for those who appreciate the charm of vintage landscapes.
Pin Mill is a hamlet on the south bank of the tidal River Orwell, on the outskirts of the village of Chelmondiston, on the Shotley peninsula in southern Suffolk. It lies within the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is a designated Conservation Area. It is now generally known for the historic Butt and Oyster public house, and sailing.
The Boat Graveyard is a short walk past the Butt and Oyster riverside pub and up into the wood. As you enter the wooded area, follow the track for a short distance passing the boat houses until you see the boat wrecks through the trees. Hop down the bank and over the small barrier on the shoreline. Bring waterproof shoes or boots to avoid wet feet if the tide is high!
This is FRAMED - Acid-Free Double Mount, Black Solid Wood Frame, Anti-reflective Acrylic Glazing, Acid-Free Mounting Board behind the photograph, and a 2mm backing Board. Brass wire fixtures for hanging.
