Original painting of Pierre Gasly’s stunning drive to finish on the podium in the wet Belgian Sprint race. He showed great consistently, stayed out of trouble in the changeable conditions and executed a good strategy as the track dried out.
He then went onto achieve another podium finish in the following Grand Prix at Zandvoort. These drives, in the trickiest of situations, have demonstrated Gasly’s ability and are a reason why he is regarded as one of the top drivers in the current era.
Here I have painted him in his stylish blue Alpine, as he pushes it to the limit on the damp curbs at the bus stop chicane. This is part of my ‘tracks collection’ which focuses on both the beautiful cars and brightly coloured tracks.
