Original artwork description
A spiritual communion with the ocean can both frighten and blind with its beauty. An ancestral instinct of surrendering to the primordial rhythms of the tide that overwhelms and releases giving us back to ourselves. Mindscapes exploring awareness, sense of self and freedom.
Acrylic, oil and collage on panel with a black wooden frame.
Made of recycled materials: reused wooden panels, discarded wall paint leftovers, paper cut-outs of digital images treated with acrylic resins and seamlessly incorporated into the composition.
The juxtaposition of the three different techniques (digital, oil and acrylic) creates a distinctive depth and intensity.
