This landscape was painted in the city of Chernihiv at the end of February or beginning of March 2023. This work is painted on reused canvas. After the start of the war with Russia, linen canvases, which had previously been imported to us from Belarus, disappeared from sale. Therefore, I had to look for other materials for work. My acquaintances offered to buy paintings with portraits of writers that had previously been removed from school. It is on such a canvas that this landscape is painted. Before painting, the old canvas was properly treated and primed to ensure good adhesion of the paint to the canvas.
