Artwork description:

Limited Edition Giclée Print, large edition. Medium edition is also available on artfinder. Printed with 5cm white border. Signed Certificate of Authenticity is included.

Hommage á Hammershøi series. This series is dedicated to the great danish painter, Vilhelm Hammershøi.

The photo shows a lone woman sitting against a concrete wall with her back to the viewer. Her blue clothes and red hair form a strong contrast and symbolize the inner struggle between serenity, composure and passion, intensity. The two empty frames in the photograph serve as a symbol of potential, mystery and hope, encouraging the viewer to reflect on their own lives. They allow the viewer to project their own experiences and emotions, making the photo relatable and thought-provoking. The lonely figure of the unrecognizable woman invites the viewer to reflect on their own journey in search of a balance between their feelings and their outer and inner selves.

The photograph captures the complexity of the human experience and invites the viewer to engage with their own feelings, making it a meaningful work of art. It touches on the universal themes of introspection, self-discovery, and the struggle to reconcile one's inner feelings with the outward appearance one presents to the world.

The title refers to Mussorgsky's most famous piano composition.

For printing we use pigmented inks and museum quality archival paper (giclée printing technique) - this means that the light resistance of the colors is more than 100 years, in accordance with Wilhelm Imaging Research.

You will receive the print rolled in a tube, mounting and/or framing is required.

Materials used:
