Picè is the name I gave to this work imagining that this puppy was called that.
I imagined finding a puppy in front of me looking at me seriously as only puppies can do.
The little one is firm and comfortable in his colored pillow and stares at me as if he wants to investigate what kind of person I am.
I painted this work in 2014 and it is part of the RITRATTI series, as a support I used a plywood frame on which I spread a very thin layer of primer which I left thicker on the edges to create an unusual material effect; I also spread the dark color on which the puppy lies, but unfortunately, in the photo I was unable to show it well.
The work is signed on the back and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity
for non-EU shipments, it is necessary to wait for authorization from the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and this could lead to a delay of a few days
