Original artwork description:

Phenomenon

55"x55" / 140x140cm
Mixed media (acrylic, rubber coating), canvas - natural cotton
2026

The basis of my work is fabric: linen and cotton—tactile, physically perceptible. These materials respond to me, immersing me in the process. I apply silicone- and resin-based paints to them. The surface becomes elastic, with the effect of a rubber membrane. It's important to me that the image be felt—that the color has weight, so that the viewer wants to touch it.
I use Georgian font and text encoded on the canvas; the text seems to hang in the air, dissolving in the rhythm of the form but maintaining its presence.

The painting depicts the last moment of the setting sun and a phrase in Georgian: მწვანე შუქის ციმციმი, which means - Flash of green light.

The canvas is a dense cotton fabric, hand-stretched on a stretcher.
Signed by the artist on the back.
With a certificate of authenticity.

This painting will be shipped rolled in a special tube. This method is especially safe for larger works and reduces shipping costs.

The canvas can be easily stretched and framed at a local framer

Materials used:

acrylic, rubber coating, linen canvas
