This artwork belongs to a series called "Natural Flags", which are landscapes inspired by the work of landscapers, they can also be from trips I have made, or by photographs of places I have seen in magazines, on the internet, reading, listening to the music...
This flag or landscape of more or less abstract shapes has a white background because it represents a sunrise.
The artwork tells us about that childish game of seeing shapes in the clouds. In this case there are some people, which could be us, looking at a big cloud that looks like a huge fish. Although if we see the image in plan it could look like a submarine, or a vesica piscis or even a mandorla with a semicolon inside, period as head and colon as body. Although personally, what I think he's talking about is one of those fish that usually go under the sea but have wings to fly.
