"Petals - splashes of color" is a palette knife oil impressionistic flower painting, a part of "Summer 2020" collection. This is an original oil painting on a 25 x 35 cm linen canvas. Painted with high quality oil paints and a palette knife creating a textured canvas (a bit impasto).

This artwork was inspired by a beauty of flowers bouquet of roses and chrysanthemums in a nice summer day! I painted it from nature and wanted to transfer the colour and flower petals' joy and playfulness through my artwork!
