Petalheart Rapture is one of those paintings that swept me up completely. I wanted to create a world that felt full of tenderness and joy, where colour moves like music and the flowers seem to breathe in their own rhythm. This large artwork is layered with expressive marks, soft blooms, and delicate splashes that come together in a kind of glowing harmony. I worked with both instinct and emotion, allowing the colours to guide me rather than planning each step. I have always been fascinated by the place where realism touches abstraction, that space where flowers are still recognisable yet feel caught in something dreamlike. In this piece I leaned into that idea, letting the movement grow wilder and more lyrical as I painted. Every brushstroke carries a memory of light, warmth, and the rush of standing in a meadow that feels alive around you. Petalheart Rapture is my celebration of colour as emotion. It has been created to bring a sense of wonder and uplift to a room, a little reminder that beauty does not need to be quiet to be comforting. I hope it brings its new collector the same feeling of brightness and presence that I felt while painting it.
