“Personal boundaries” canvas, acrylic, 40x40cm

We all often hear that we need to learn to mark our personal boundaries, defend our opinion, our preferences. But less often they say "don't get into other people's lives; respect the other's choice, it's normal when a person thinks differently than you."

Here I drew a parallel for myself.

The neighboring state does not recognize the borders of our land, it wants to take possession of us. All this gave me an impetus to think about the internal problems of a person, when one individual cannot perceive the thoughts of another.

I felt that it was like trampling feet. Visualized it on canvas.

And in the background, spreading Ukrainian ornaments on the carpet, borrowed from various artifacts of our ukrainian heritage.
