Painting from Parr's body of work, "Public, Private, Secret", exploring desire, love and sensuality, expressed through dark and saturated colour and intense mark making, played out in the chimerical space that defines the Artist’s work.
This series was started at the end of 2019 and well before the Covid 19 Pandemic started, but whilst continuing on with this body of work, the Artist found her practice, not surprisingly, affected by this strange and difficult time for many.
The painting is signed on the canvas side and ready to hang. The deep edged canvas side shows some signs of the painting process.
