Peonies (2010) Original Gouache Painting by Gesa Reuter

One of my earlier works and one of my rare flower paintings on canvas... a lovely sized flower still-life with joyful colors to brighten up your home!

The colors used are selfmade gouache and egg tempera, the painting is done in layers like the old masters did. I still love the reduced style of the flowers and the long format of the painting. It would look fantastic with a big bold silver frame.

120x40x2 cm, on gallery wrapped primed canvas/cotton. Signed on the back. Ready to hang with hook on the back, but would also love a frame!
