This watercolor still life is dedicated to homemade pear wine and carries a warm,
heartfelt story.
It was inspired by an old pear tree in our family garden, over 50 years old. One season, it yielded an exceptionally generous harvest, and my husband used the pears to make a dessert wine. The result was truly refined, and a bottle of this wine became a cherished gift for our friends.
The watercolor is painted in a calm, muted palette—soft greys, greens, and gentle yellows create a sense of comfort and quiet nostalgia. This piece fits beautifully into a modern interior, adding a subtle touch of warmth, coziness, and personal history.
