My daughter made this little pink poppy in a crafting session at kindergarten. She proudly gave it to me saying it was a gift. I loved the translucency of the paper and the colors, it immediately had to be used in a painting. This painting is all about the poppy and the light passing through it.

I added in some fruit for good measure, well when the sun shines I just make good use of it. This painting features luscious bold brush strokes, take a look at the closeups and you wouldn't be disappointed. My favourite part is that pear hidden behind the blue bottle.

This original painting measures 24 by 30 cms and ships unframed. I will ship it carefully packaged in a cardboard box. I can also help you with framing suggestions, do let me know.
