Original artwork description
Peace of Mind 46 emerged from a quiet, intuitive painting process in which I allowed colour, movement and atmosphere to develop naturally. Working predominantly with layers of blue and turquoise, I created broad, softened forms that seem to float and overlap, creating a sense of depth without defining a specific place or object.
The inspiration came from the feeling of being surrounded by calm — like looking into deep water, entering a quiet room, or simply allowing the mind to slow down. The subtle variations between lighter and darker blues create moments of light and shadow, while the soft edges encourage the eye to move gently across the surface.
This painting is special because of its meditative character. For me, painting is a form of meditation, and Peace of Mind 46 captures that moment when thoughts become quieter and everything unnecessary seems to disappear. I hope the viewer experiences the same sense of stillness, depth and emotional breathing space.
