Peace of Mind 44 emerged from a quiet, intuitive painting process in which I allowed layers of green to develop naturally across the canvas. The rich greens and subtle variations in tone create a feeling of being surrounded by nature, growth and renewal. Vertical movements give the painting a gentle sense of flow, while lighter passages appear almost like glimpses of light filtering through leaves.

This work is special to me because it reflects the restorative side of my painting practice. When I paint, I enter a meditative state where the outside world becomes quiet and the act of creating becomes a form of inner balance. Peace of Mind 44 is an invitation to slow down, breathe and reconnect with that feeling of calm.
