Original artwork description:

In this painting I wanted to play with the tension between visibility and disguise. The chameleon almost disappears into the ornamental background, yet clings to a fragile daisy as if it were an anchor. I’m interested in how patterns can both conceal and reveal, asking the viewer to look twice before they truly see.

Materials used:

Oil and acrylic paint on canvas with natural dyes.
