An impressionist painting of a path of trees which I paint in a series called the Dappled Path Series. Here I use color and texture to express light, shade and atmosphere. Each painting in the Dappled Path series is unique and painted in different light and seasons. In this painting, I've sought to capture the beautiful glow of sunlight filtering through a dense canopy, creating a dance of light and shadow on the forest floor.
