Landscape of Auvergne, in the very heart of France.
The landscapes in the Velay mountains are an inexhaustible source of inspiration. I like to paint them in all seasons.
This landscape is painted “alla prima”, with lively and spontaneous brushstrokes to attempt to capture the momentary effects of sunlight, the movement and the atmosphere.
This artwork will be packaged rolled in a tube. Once stretched by a framer, the white finish of the sides of the canvas allows you to hang it without a frame if you wish.
