In Paris I came across the entrance to an arcade, a tunnel of mystery deep inside a building, a place of timelessness and style, of serendipitous antiques and cosy light. The street is quiet, the café inviting with warmth and cheer. This painting oozes Parisian charm. The light settles on a section of the wall, radiating rose and earth. Small elements of collage add to the charm and nostalgia.

Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.
