This large-scale diptych is part of my ongoing Structural Flow series — a personal exploration of tension, symmetry, and organic disruption.
Parallel Balance is a diptych about coexistence, contrast, and visual dialogue.
I created these two paintings as a paired composition, where each canvas carries its own rhythm, yet together they form a unified structure. Vertical lines act as anchors, while layered horizontal elements interrupt and soften the composition, creating a sense of movement and equilibrium.
The palette is calm and contemporary: soft grey, warm beige, muted sand, off-white, deep charcoal, and cool blue tones. I worked with acrylic paint in multiple layers, using palette knives, broad brushes, and controlled scraping to build texture and depth. Some areas are dense and expressive, while others remain light and open, allowing the surface to breathe.
This diptych is designed for modern interiors where scale and balance matter — large walls, refined living spaces, or architectural environments. Hung together, the works communicate quietly but confidently, offering a sophisticated focal point without overwhelming the space.
Parallel Balance is a one-of-a-kind original diptych. Both paintings will be shipped rolled for safe international delivery and can be stretched or framed according to the collector’s vision.
