Original artwork description
Last month I finished one of the most interesting artworks I have ever worked on. My customer ordered illustrations of the Dante's Divine Comedy. I created each part as a map. The largest artwork is Inferno, this is diptych, total size is 1040x1500mm. Inferno consists from 9 circles, in the central part is Lucifer with three heads.
Purgatory is created in golden section composition. It shows the way of Dante walking up to nine steps above.
The final part is Paradiso, it shows nine spheres of the Heaven, each part is created as a symbol of certain planet.
I created another one round composition of the Paradiso. It starts from the Moon and goes spiral to the Empyrean.
