This painting was inspired by my beloved pet — a papillon dog.
She is a delicate and graceful little creature with ears that resemble butterfly wings. I wanted to emphasize this unique feature by painting her ears in bright, joyful colors — as if a butterfly had gently landed on her head. A small heart-shaped pendant adds a touch of charm — she’s a true little fashionista with personality.

As in many of my works, I used one of my favorite techniques: a vibrant, colorful subject set against a calm, almost monochrome background. This contrast helps to highlight the character and create visual depth.

This is an oil painting on canvas, created entirely with a palette knife — 100% handmade.
