Original artwork description
An oil on canvas abstract expressionist painting. This was inspired by southern Spain and an evening in the golden sunlight drinking a Pink Paloma.
The colours are soft pastel blues and pinks, painted with gestural movements and I sometimes allowed the layers to drip and do their thing. This painting is about the feel of a moment in time, conveyed using texture, form and colour.
Originally one of a twin - the sister painting 'Pink Paloma no.2' - was sold to a collector earlier this year.
Painted in my studio in Brighton.
All my paintings are meticulously wrapped and packaged before being shipped off promptly to you. Fixing attachments are on the back so it can straight on your wall.
