I painted this palm tree while sitting in my garden during the last week of August, making the most of the final summer days. I have two palm trees there, both thriving, and I often find little saplings sprouting throughout the garden. I’m not sure what type they are, but they’re clearly very happy.
In the background, there’s a very light blue wash that fades toward the top of the painting, though it doesn’t show up well in the photos.
