Original artwork description
An extra large, abstract oil painting that has been carefully built over many layers of colour. The painting is striking in terms of its size and vibrancy of the colours. It's a statement piece that will lighten up any room. I was particularly influenced by the beautiful work of Frank Bowling, a Guyana born British artist. I only discovered Bowling a year ago and was immediately taken in by the radiance of his work and the colour combinations.
The canvas has been painted around the edges in a complementary colour.
Hooks and picture hanging cord are attached so the canvas is ready for hanging. The painting comes with a signed certificate of authenticity attached at the back.
