The contours are soft, like breath. The colors melt into one another โ as if the land itself forgot where it began and ended.
Painted Dream #7 belongs to a series that explores the edge between reality and perception. Captured entirely in-camera, with intentional movement, this photograph discards the need for sharpness in favor of mood, tone, and presence.
It is both still and moving. Abstract, but deeply familiar.

The "Painted Dreams" series was born among the most isolated and iconic hills of Val d'Orcia at the first light of dawn or the last glimmers before twilight. These are abstract images not digitally manipulated, but naturally created at the moment of shooting to best capture the emotions experienced in solitude among those silent places on the border between dream and reality.
