PAINTED DREAM #37
This piece was created in Val d’Orcia, a landscape that I return to again and again — not just with my camera, but with my whole attention.
Rather than documenting a place, I work to feel it.

Using intentional camera movement, I allow the rolling hills, soft light and layered horizons to dissolve into one another, transforming the scene into something closer to memory than reality. The result is a painterly impression — gentle, fluid, and quietly emotional.

For me, this series is about slowing down. About standing still in the Tuscan countryside and letting time soften. I’m drawn to those fleeting moments when colour, light and motion merge, creating a dreamlike atmosphere that exists only for a second.

PAINTED DREAM #37” is an invitation to pause — to breathe — and to step into a tranquil, abstracted vision of Val d’Orcia. I hope it brings a sense of calm and quiet beauty into your space, offering a window onto a softer world.
