In PAINTED DREAM #3, the landscape dissolves into memory. Sweeping horizontal bands of muted blues, warm ochres, and soft earth tones blur into one another, transforming a fleeting moment into a meditative abstraction. The image hovers between land and sky, presence and absence — more felt than seen.

Through intentional camera movement, the scene is reduced to its essential rhythms: gentle contours, shifting light, and the quiet dialogue between color and space. The horizon becomes a whisper rather than a line, inviting the viewer to slow down and inhabit the in-between.

This work evokes the sensation of recalling a place rather than standing within it — a painted impression shaped by atmosphere and emotion. Minimal yet immersive, Painted Dream #3 explores the poetry of impermanence, where landscape becomes dream and memory becomes art.

The Tuscan area of Val d'Orcia, in the heart of Italy just south of the beautiful city of Siena, truly stands out for its extremely captivating landscape, so unique and unmistakable that it was officially recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2004.

The "Painted Dreams" shots were born in this way, among the most isolated and iconic hills of Val d'Orcia at the first light of dawn or the last glimmers before twilight. These are abstract images not digitally manipulated, but naturally created at the moment of shooting to best capture the emotions experienced in solitude among those silent places on the border between dream and reality.
