In this piece I explore the quiet boundary between landscape and memory. The image is intentionally softened through movement, allowing the dunes to dissolve into flowing bands of colour and light.
I choose to transform a real place into something more dreamlike and emotional rather than descriptive.

The warm ochres and muted browns suggest sand shaped by wind, while the darker strokes hint at distant ridges and shadows. Iโ€™m drawn to the simplicity of these natural forms and the way they echo the gentle rhythm of the land.
Instead of focusing on detail, I wanted to capture the feeling of being there โ€” the calm, the vastness, and the subtle movement of air across the landscape.

This work is part of my Painted Dream series, where photography becomes closer to painting. The camera becomes a brush, and the landscape becomes a canvas of flowing tones and textures.
My aim is not to document the scene but to interpret it, allowing the viewer space to wander through their own impressions and memories.

I hope the image invites a moment of stillness โ€” a quiet pause within a shifting, dreamlike landscape.
