A gouache painting of a pair pf Oystercatchers feeding ankle deep in water. It is executed on 300gsm hot pressed watercolour paper, is titled 'Oystercatchers Feeding' and is signed a second time on the back. It is unmounted and unframed.
Inspired by the contrast of the stark colours of the birds with their orange beaks and legs against the colour of the water and the strange tranquility of the whole scene. I couldn't resist it !
