I love Oxford, a place that feels magical, enchanted, and above all quintessentially English. A place of learning, a place filled with both youth and ancient wisdom. I loved this view of some old houses, their walls uneven, quirky, the heat of summer soaked into the fabric. Above all I loved the pastel colours, reminding me of peaches and lemons, of strawberry custard and cream. This work makes a perfect souvenir of Oxford, a great gift.
Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.
