Have you ever felt like you were just a little ahead of the day — as if your soul moved faster than time? "Overtaking the Sun" was born from that feeling.
I used oil mixed with iridescent bronze and silver acrylics to build a luminous, textured sky. The glowing pink shifts under light, revealing warmth, shine, and depth. It’s a large piece — expressive, radiant, and full of movement.
There’s no single meaning here. Some see a sky in motion, others feel the pull of dawn or the freedom of flying. For me, it’s a celebration of light — not just what we see, but what we carry inside.
