This oil painting was inspired by picturesque British countryside landscapes with a reference to the traditional 17th century song.
What may seem as accidental set of brushstrokes and paint smudges from close, will turn into the carefully balanced realistic landscape of a rainy afternoon hills and a countryside road, once you make a few steps back and look at the artwork from some distance.
The artwork is in private collection, but the artist is open for commissions and may repeat the artwork if you really like it.
