Outbreak captures the moment of rupture — a fragile glass goblet shattered, releasing two golden fish into the unknown. The composition balances between elegance and chaos: the vessel, once containing and preserving life, now broken and powerless; the fish, symbols of hope and continuity, suspended in a state of disruption.

Painted with the encaustic technique on raw OSB board, the texture is rich, tactile, and expressive. The dramatic brushstrokes in the background evoke turbulence and emotional unrest, echoing the global atmosphere of 2020. This work is both a personal and collective reflection — on containment, escape, and the price of transformation.
