In Out of Sight, a striking 50x70cm acrylic on canvas, a quiet yet charged moment unfolds. A pristine white cat, captured mid-gaze, fixates intently on a point beyond the frame—while a small mouse, oblivious or perhaps boldly indifferent, scurries across the lower left. A curtain bisects the composition, obscuring the visual link between predator and prey, leaving the viewer caught in the psychological tension. This minimalistic yet clever scene is rich with implied narrative and invites the viewer to ponder what lies beyond what we can see. It is an ode to stillness before action, and to the mysteries concealed in plain sight.
