The sculpture shows, within its forcefulness, some curved shapes that allow the entire volume to be developed with a single twist. The effect of continuity achieved fights against the forcefulness of the basic features of this head, eyes and nose.
Its bestial appearance brings us closer to the convincing heads made by Oteiza for the Aranzazu monastery.
Sculpture made of patinated black that seeks to express the human head from an abstract point of view. With the influence of traditional African art and contemporary artists such as Jorge Oteiza.
