Acrylic painting of Oscar Piastri on his way to his maiden Formula One victory at the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix. Starting from second on the grid, the McLaren driver took the lead early after a strong start, maintaining composure under pressure from his teammate. Piastri managed his tires expertly, showcasing a maturity beyond his years.
This landmark win made him the first Australian to triumph in F1 since Daniel Ricciardo in 2021. Piastri’s victory established him as one of the sport’s brightest talents, marking a pivotal moment in his young career.
Here I have used bright colour tones to show the iconic papaya orange McLarens in the Budapest sun, framed by the colourful crowd in the background.
